I mean lets look at it .. its for Couples, its for Lovers, Its for those gooshy romantic things that none of us want to talk about. But seriously have you made your valentines yet for your Lover, gooshy person in your life your crush?
What about your first True Love, No I am not talking about the geeky boyfriend you had in High School I am talking about the Love of your life right now that lives with in each of us?
Have you made "HIS" valentine yet? I mean what would you give Jesus for Valentines day? I mean he gives us each day but what would you give him for valentines day? Would you give him a Crown of Jewels, A Dozen Red Roses with Thorns? A box of Sweet Chocolate? or would you simply get down on your Knees and read the word?
So I challenge each of my readers today to grab up their bibles and read.. Read from the word today. Simply pick up the bible better yet keep reading :)
Here it goes...
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
Would you BE His this valentines day?
My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. 28 I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. 29 My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all[c]; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand. 30 I and the Father are one.”
He is letting you know you are all His now will you let him be All yours?
The days are coming,’ declares the Lord, ‘when I will bring my people Israel and Judah back from captivity[a] and restore them to the land I gave their ancestors to possess,’ says the Lord.”
Look at the promise he makes for us to return to him on his land.
He answered, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind’[c]; and, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’[d]”
Now if this is not powerful i don't know what is.. but think about it.. do you love the Lord god with all of your heart, Soul, Strength and Mind? If not you are missing out on a lot of great things.
Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God[a]; believe also in me. 2 My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.
I am Sure that soon we will all be in a room in our Father's house, I cannot wait for that day.
How sweet are your words to my taste,
sweeter than honey to my mouth!
Just listen to the words of our lord as he speaks to you in your heart .. taste the sweetness he brings to your life every day if you allow him in ..
If you love me, keep my commands.
Jesus Promises you to the Holy Land and the Holy Spirit. How wonderful is that.
With this I close with a prayer for my friends this year.
May your Valentine be Pure, Sweet and Loving, May be in times of trouble and moments of weakness hold you tight and carry you thru the troubled waters, may in times of praise and gladness may you see that he indeed is glad and praising you as well. Be truthful to your father praise him in the Storm and Praise him in the calm but most of all Love him as you do your First true love with All of your Heart, Soul, Mind and Strength.
